1. Disclaimer
Every effort is made to ensure descriptions and prices are accurate. FFcamera reserves the right to correct errors as needed. All prices and availability are subject to change without notice.

2. Rent
Full rental payment and a Safety Deposit must be made before equipment is released to the Renter. FFcamera reserves the right to refuse rental to any person for any reason.

3. Term
The lease term commences at the “Start” date and time and expires at the “End” date and time as specified in the FFcamera Rental Application. Items must be returned by the exact end time stated.

4. Booking
Upon making a booking, the Renter accepts these Terms and Conditions. Full payment is required to secure a booking. If there is a price discrepancy between facebook.com/ffcamera and ffcamera.my/price-list, the price on facebook.com/ffcamera shall prevail.

5. Safety Deposit
A safety deposit is required for every item. The total amount is determined by FFcamera. Cash deposits will be refunded on the spot upon return. Online deposits will be refunded by the next working day after the Renter provides their bank details.

6. Late Returns
Late returns will incur a daily penalty equivalent to the one-day rental rate of the item.
A. If an item is not returned within 7 days of the due date, it will be considered stolen. The Renter will be charged the full replacement value.
B. If FFcamera cannot collect penalties or the replacement value after 7 days, the Renter will be considered in Default.
C. FFcamera reserves the right to pursue all civil and criminal remedies for unreturned or lost items.

7. Use
The Renter shall use the item carefully and properly, complying with all applicable laws and regulations.
A. Shutter Count: For cameras, the limit is 1,500 shutters per day for the first 5 days, and 1,000 shutters per day thereafter.

8. Collection
The Renter must check and test all items during collection. FFcamera assumes no responsibility for issues reported after the item has left the premises.

9. Cancellation
A. More than 7 days before booking: 90% refund of the rental amount.
B. Within 7 days of booking: 50% refund of the rental amount.
C. Within 24 hours of booking: No refund.
D. Date Changes: If FFcamera allows a date change, it must be within one month of the original date. Changes made within 3 days of collection may incur a 20% surcharge. If the new rental total is less than the original payment, the difference is non-refundable.

10. Ownership
The item remains the exclusive property of FFcamera at all times. FFcamera makes no claim to the images, video, or sound recordings created by the Renter using the equipment.

11. Damage or Modified Item
The Renter shall keep the Item in good repair and condition. The Renter shall not materially modify or alter the Item.
A. In the event of any material modifications, the Renter will be responsible for all reasonable costs required to restore the Item to its original condition.
B. The Renter assumes all risk of damage to the Item from any cause, unless pre-existing damage was reported to FFcamera upon transfer of possession.
C. In the event of damage, FFcamera shall determine the repair method and venue. If an external venue is chosen, the Renter is responsible for the total cost of the repair.
D. In-House Repairs: FFcamera may choose to repair the Item in-house. In such cases, the Renter shall be responsible for all expenses related to parts and labor.
E. Payment of Expenses: The Renter’s provided form of payment shall be charged for all repair expenses owed to FFcamera. If the payment cannot be successfully processed within 24 hours, the Renter shall be considered to be in Default.
F. Cleaning Fee: A cleaning fee may be charged if any of the following must be removed from the Item upon return: smoke, mud, dirt, chalk, powder, sand, or any other foreign matter.

12. Loss or Stolen Items
The Renter bears the entire risk of loss. If an item is lost or stolen, the Renter is liable for the full replacement value. If payment cannot be processed within 24 hours of the report, the Renter is in Default.

13. Unreturned Items
If an item is not returned within 7 days of the term’s expiration, the Renter is liable for the full replacement value.

14. Default
In the event of Default, all owed amounts become immediately due.
A. The Renter is responsible for all recovery costs, including collection and attorney fees.
B. FFcamera reserves the right to use all communication records (WhatsApp, Facebook, recorded calls, video footage) as evidence.
C. Public Disclosure: FFcamera reserves the right to disclose Renter information on social or printed media to recover owed amounts.

15. Missing Accessories
The Renter is liable for the replacement cost of any missing accessories (caps, hoods, filters, etc.). FFcamera may withhold the full safety deposit until the items are replaced.

16. Liability
The Renter assumes all liability resulting from the use or malfunction of the item and indemnifies FFcamera against any related claims.

17. Shipping & Malfunctions
In the event of delays or malfunctions, FFcamera’s liability is limited to a pro-rated refund for the time the item was non-functional. FFcamera is not responsible for consequential or incidental damages (e.g., lost production costs).

18. Taxes and Duties
The Renter shall keep the item free of taxes, liens, or encumbrances and must reimburse FFcamera for any such charges levied.

19. Privacy Policy
Personal information is collected only with consent via FFcamera forms.
A. Information is used only for identification and contact purposes.
B. FFcamera will not share personal information with third parties unless the Renter is in Default.
